Stuart CroftsStuart Crofts, Chief Executive Officer / Managing Director

Stuart Crofts joined Brierty in 2008, as Chief Executive Officer. He was invited to join Brierty’s Board as Managing Director in June, 2009.

Stuart brings considerable general management and leadership experience with international construction contractors and EPCM consultants. He has demonstrated his ability to build and manage large and complex organisations that deliver safe and productive outcomes under his leadership. Stuart has championed many company improvement initiatives that address both internally and externally facing business processes, including safety performance.

Prior to joining Brierty, Stuart was Executive General Manager of United Group Resources, a division of United Group Limited.


Tony BevanTony Bevan, Chief Financial Officer / Company Secretary

Tony joined Brierty in April 2008 with 20 plus years experience in chartered accounting firms.

With thirteen years as a senior partner, he specialised in a number of disciplines including audit, tax and corporate finance. He is a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants and current WA Chairman of Council. He is also a Graduate Member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

 


Paula DowningPaula Downing, Manager: Strategic Development

Paula has gained 16 years of management experience in marketing and communication, business development and strategic planning in South Africa, Australia and New Zealand.

Over the last 6 years Paula has led company initiatives in the engineering and construction industry to build brand identity and market reputation, establish and manage stakeholder communications, and has implemented opportunity management systems that enable organisations to strategically manage their targeted customers and markets.

Paula's role includes business planning, implementing business improvement programs, developing external business opportunities, building and managing customer, partner and community relationships, and public relations.


GarryGarry Rochow, Manager: Commercial Operations

Garry’s indepth knowledge in both the technical and commercial aspects of construction further strengthens Brierty’s operational and commercial capability.

Commencing as an engineer Garry has gained significant experience in the construction and mining industry, including major mining and oil and gas infrastructure, road and bridge construction, rail construction, and water infrastructure projects.

Prior to joining Brierty, Garry was the Commercial Advisor and Project Director for a major civil and mining contracting company in Perth.

Garry’s primary focus is to provide commercial and contractual support to operations, and working across the business to drive the implementation of robust business processes and systems

Richard (Dick) LevittRichard (Dick) Levitt, Manager: Infrastructure

Since early 2008 Dick has played an integral role in developing and mentoring Brierty’s infrastructure business and is currently responsible for managing the Resources and Transport Infrastructure business units.

Dick brings more than 30 years of hands-on knowledge and experience in all major disciplines within the civil engineering and construction industry, both in Australia and internationally.

Dick has gained extensive earthworks, civil and concrete structure experience across numerous industries including mining infrastructure, oil and gas plant and infrastructure, urban development, highway construction, major elevated road and rail systems, water storage, treatment and processing and power.

Dick’s ability to understand, manage and meet client requirements and mentor his team to deliver, establishes him an invaluable member of our operations team.


Joe BradleyJoe Bradley, Manager: Land Development

Since 2004 Joe has played an active role in developing Brierty’s Land Development business and is currently responsible for the overall management of the Land Development business unit.

Joe’s in depth operational knowledge and excellent relationship management skills are key strengths that he has built upon over his 10 years in the Land Development industry

Joe’s role currently includes project negotiation, resource allocation and planning, client relationship management, managing the overall project success and business unit performance.


MarkMark Braghieri, Manager: Mining

Mark brings more than 20 years of experience in the mining industry from a range of open pit and underground operations at various mineral processing and fixed plant operations.

Mark has worked in senior management positions for a number of major mining contractors and owner-miners. He brings considerable experience, including business improvement, contract management, resource allocation and planning and client relationship management within an environment of bottom-line accountability.

Mark is accountable for managing Brierty’s mining business, which includes contract mining and the provision of mining services. He is focussed on business planning to deliver sustainable growth, and operational improvements to deliver improved productivity.


MikeSMike Sloan, Manager: Commercial & Contracts

Mike has gained nearly 30 years experience in the civil engineering and construction industry in Australia. Commencing as an engineer, Mike built his expert knowledge through hands-on experience in civil design, project management, estimating, and contract management.

Mike's diversity of experience enables him to provide valuable commercial support and advice to both Brierty's estimating and operational team members.

Mike is actively involved in developing and maintaining strong customer and supplier relationships

Steven HartSteve Hart, Manager: Safety

Steve has gained more than 20 years experience in operations, safety, training and emergency response. Steve has gained his experience with international and national companies with operations in Australia.

Steve joined Brierty in August 2008 and has led Brierty's safety improvement program through appropriate training and development, effective communication and proactive involvement with project personnel. Steve has an open and approachable manner and relates well with all levels of personnel. His knowledge and experience is widely acknowledged and respected in our business.


JudeMJude Mahony, Manager: Human Resources

Jude has extensive HR experience in construction and engineering across the mining and oil and gas industries. Committed to continuous improvement, Jude targets consistency through the development and implementation of efficient processes and systems within Human Resources.

Jude is responsible for all facets of people management within the business focussing on the attraction, retention and development of our employees.

Prior to joining Brierty, Jude was the National Recruitment Manager for a multi-national EPCM contractor.


Domenic CappeluttiDomenic Cappelluti, Manager: Plant & Procurement

Domenic has 14 years experience in plant management gained from more than 30 years in the industry. He is a plant asset and maintenance professional having worked in the civil and mining industry in Australia and overseas.

Domenic has actively contributed towards business improvements within Brierty which has supported improved fleet management including fleet selection, fleet optimisation, fleet disposal and seen better financial outcomes for Brierty’s plant department.

Domenic is involved in implementing ongoing improvements to enhance proven maintenance management processes that lead to greater reliability throughout the life of each plant asset.
