The project is part of the BHP Billiton Worsley Alumina's Efficiency and Growth Project, located 15km south of Boddington in Western Australia's south west region. Brierty has been contracted to complete the works to support the mine site expansion at Marradong.

The works include:

  • Bulk earthworks;
  • Detailed earthworks including subgrade and basecourse levels for all plant pads;
  • 100m long pre-fabricated arched tunnel with concrete foundations;
  • Roadworks;
  • Retaining walls;
  • Road formation and kerbing; and
  • Installation of crib and office facilities, and drainage to support the mine site expansion
