The project involved the construction of a haul road to the Extension Hill mine site.
The contract scope included the construction of 85 kilometres of road from Extension Hill to Perenjori including:
- An intersection treatment at the intersection of the Rothsay Road with the Wanarra Road;
- Other minor intersection treatments;
- Various ancillary works including pavement marking, signs and service relocations;
- Institu / precast concrete structures / minor;
- Working in a live traffic environment; and
- Facilitating abnormal load traffic movements
The works included bulk earthworks, causeway construction, pavement stabilisation, road formation, stakeholder engagement and traffic management.
