In May 2007 WAC awarded Brierty the Prix Car Services Development project located at Perth International Airport on Hudswell Road. Based on outstanding performance Brierty have since then been awarded a further 4 contracts – Prix Car Extension, ManheimFowles, Patricks Autocare and SCF Containers.

The works involve the construction of building pads and hardstand carpark areas including:

  • Large hardstand areas (Prix Car – 19ha; ManheimFowles – 6ha; Patricks – 16ha);
  • Construction of pavements;
  • Roadworks and signage;
  • Stabilisation including hydro mulching
  • Culverts and drainage structures;
  • Detailed earthworks;
  • Traffic Management;
  • Clearing of site, mulching and stockpiling;
  • Imported fill;
  • Removal and disposal of any overburden;
  • Remove and stockpile of excess topsoil material;
  • Diversion of existing open drain;
  • Installation of storm water drainage and retention basins;

Brierty have been innovative in their approach to delivering these projects and have used recycled roadbase as pavement material to reduce the carbon footprint of the project.  This innovative approach is environmentally friendly, cost effective and enables Brierty to utilise waste materials generated from site. By using recycled materials, Brierty is saving the client up 30%.
