Gap Ridge Industrial Estate will cater for both general and light Industrial use. The lot sizes will allow industries that require larger site areas for manufacturing, assembly, lay down and storage use. The site is located on the corner of Dampier Road and Seven Mile Road approximately 8.4 km from the Karratha Town Centre.

Brierty started at Gap Ridge in July and undertook works involving up to 50,000m3 bulk earthworks cut to fill and 125,000m3 of subgrade improvement material to import.

The works included:

  • Bulk earthworks;
  • Detailed earthworks;
  • Clearing and mulching of vegetation;
  • Stripping, stockpiling and re-spreading of topsoil;
  • Dismantling and disposal of existing fencing;
  • Road formation;
  • Culverts and drainage structures;
  • Sewer and water reticulation;
  • Traffic management; and
  • Stakeholder engagement

Brierty have used the latest GPS technology on this project to increase productivity, efficiency and safety performance.
