Lakelands is a subdivision located just north of Mandurah in the fast developing Peel Region. Brierty secured the Bulk Earthworks for Stage 1 of the display village and residential works and since then have negotiated more than 32 work packages.

The works include:

  • Bulk earthworks;
  • Carparks;
  • Culverts and drainage structures;
  • Detailed earthworks;
  • Rail and road formation;
  • Retaining walls;
  • Sewer and water reticulation;
  • Stakeholder engagement;
  • Traffic management; and
  • Access roads

Stringent environmental constraints exist within the project and Brierty's effort in managing these has been recognised, receiving an Environmental Excellence Award in 2005 and Sustainable Urban Development Award in 2006 from the Urban Development Institute of Australia.
