South Beach Development is located 2 kilometres from the Fremantle Café strip, along the northern Cockburn coastline.

Brierty have been contracted to complete the remediation works for the former train refuelling site for future development.

Works include:

• Removal, testing and disposal to a suitable facility of hydrocarbon contaminated material;
• Removal and disposal of redundant drainage system;
• Removal and reuse of existing limestone subbase;
• Removal and reuse of uncompacted fill to achieve finished level ready for development;
• Detailed earthworks;
• Traffic management; and
• Stakeholder engagement
