  • Excavating key-ins where new embankments abutted the existing embankment of TSF1 or the south western ridge
  • Construction an access ramp and earthfill pump platform on the downstream face of the western embankment of TSF 1
  • Placing coarse rockfill as flood protection at the outer toe of the Main Embankment up to RL 274.5m
  • Placing gravel on crests of embankments and ramps as a wearing course
  • Forming a safety windrow at the downstream margin of embankment crests and access roads
  • Spreading coarse rejects on designated outer batter sections of the TSF 1 western embankment and transfer pump access ramp
  • Constructing an access track across the top of the ridge forming the south western boundary of TSF 2
  • Construction a diversion channel on the south side of TSF 2, tying into the existing diversion channel and discharging into natural flow paths
