This project, part of the Boddington Gold Mine Expansion Project, comprises the works associated with the earthworks, roads and drainage for construction of the new Boddington Gold Mine Process Plant, situated at the end of Soldiers Road.

The extent of the works includes:

  • Cut and fill – approx 2.20 million m3
  • Clearing and grubbing 200ha of bushland
  • Existing Haul Road relocation
  • Removal of existing underground services and structures
  • Plant site road construction
  • Compacted fills and embankments
  • Temporary pavements, site surfacing and hardstand areas
  • Temporary storm water drainage system
  • Process Water Pond, storm water pond No. 2 and runoff pond, server treatment plant pond, vehicle washdown pond
  • Preparation of lay down areas
