Brierty completed works for Fortescue Metal Group’s Pilbara Iron and Infrastructure Rail Project, an integral part of the new infrastructure to support the development and sale of the Cloud Break and Christmas Creek iron ore deposits.

Located just out of Port Hedland, works on the project commenced in June 2007 and involved the utilisation of a large fleet of mobile plant and up to 240 personnel on site.

The works completed by Brierty include construction of 85 kilometres of rail formation to sub-ballast level.
