This project was a major Cat 2 delivery contract for Main Roads WA Pilbara Region. It duplicates the Dampier Highway in Karratha townsite to cater for the resources boom placing 15,000vpd between Dampier and Karratha.
Major roundabouts were constructed at all intersections with major arterial side roads. A 35 man construction camp was erected for the project.
