FMG Access Road

Brierty will construct the upgrade of 2km access road over a 12 week period. The access road will support FMG’s port infrastructure operations.

Works include:

• Intersection upgrade at Anderson Point;
• Pavement construction;
• Main access road and ancillary works;
• 2 coat seal road surfacing;
• Embankment stabilization;
• Line marking and signage;
• Management of existing vehicular access;
• Strip vegetation;
• Topsoil stripping, stockpiling and respread upon completion;
• Cut to fill earthworks;
• Culvert crossings and stormwater drainage and structures;
• Erosion protection;
• Bulk earthworks;
• Site Preparation;
• Establishment of temporary site facilities and services;
• Utility service diversions; and
• Stone pitching
