The project was undertaken by the joint venture between Doric and Brierty.
The project scope involved the construction of three stations:
- Cockburn Central Station (previously known as Thomsons Lake Station): A bus/rail transfer station as part of the proposed new Cockburn Regional City Centre at the Beeliar Drive / Kwinana Freeway interchange with 790 park and ride bays, drop off and short term parking, pedestrian and cycle facilities and full universal access standards
- Kwinana Station (previously known as Thomas Road Station): A bus/rail transfer station at Thomas Road, Kwinana with 400 park and ride bays, drop off and short term parking, pedestrian and cycle facilities and full universal access standards
- Wellard Station (previously known as Leda Station): A bus/rail transfer station integrated into the new transit oriented development “Wellard Village”, Kwinana with 300 park and ride bays, drop off and short term parking, pedestrian and cycle facilities and full universal access standards
