The works comprise realignment, reconstruction and widening of Great Northern Highway and associated side roads in the town of Port Hedland between Goldsworthy Rail Crossing and Bell Street.
- Construct and realign 900m of Great Northern Highway
- Widen and construct 800m of existing Great Northern Highway
- Widening. Realignment and lane additions on adjoining roads within the site
- Construction of ancillary drainage works
- Construction of 1.9km of new side roads
- Modifications to three existing intersections relating to the above realignment and construction works
- Removal of redundant road sections and intersections
