Brierty I.T. Team | Employees of the Quarter - Summer 2011 /12

This employee of the quarter is actually Employees of the Quarter and goes to the IT Team:  Martin Vestby, Gary Mitchell, Will Bevis, Marcus Dinsdale and Diane Jackson!
This has been awarded to the IT team for the fantastic job they did in moving the IT and systems from the old office to the new office in South Perth. The move was well planned and well carried out with all of the team working until midnight and several of them continuing into the following day.

To have systems down for less than a day was a great achievement - well done!  The team demonstrated cohesion, optimism, resilience and excellence.


Craig Rogers | Employee of the Quarter - Spring 2011

Craig was nominated for taking on a lot of responsibility in the last year and has run Alkimos successfully for the last few months. He is always willing to help when required and has an excellent knowledge of all aspects of the job. He works well with management, on site staff and client representatives.

He has a good safety record and encourages and promotes safe working on site with all employees.

 


Rex Dorant | Employee of the Quarter - Winter 2011 

Rex continually leads the way with safety on site by completing Take Fives and Hazard Reports daily.

While recently filling in as Camp Manager he saw to it that all employees got to and from work and mess hall safely, and encouraged his fellow colleagues in safe practices. His commitment to his role and his colleagues are appreciated by all.

 

 


Lewis Nock | Apprentice of the Year

Lewis has a good can do attitude and the ability and keenness to undertake any task in a strategic manner but more importantly always puts safety first. He constantly displays flexibility, follows instructions and learns to complete each task thoroughly with minimal fuss.

He always shows initiative and communicates effectively with his fellow peers and management. Lewis is a good role model for current and future apprentices, making him a worthy recipient of this award.

Davit Hutadjulu | Employee of the Quarter - Summer 2010/11

Davit has an excellent work ethic which is reflected in the many nominations he received from his colleagues.

Davit's knowledge and expertise, and his willingness to help others is widely recognised by the workshop team and has not gone unnoticed. His dedication to his role and his commitment to Brierty are much appreciated.

Phil Paul | Employee of the Quarter - Autumn 2010

Phil is a highly valued member of the team and received numerous nominations from appreciative colleagues.

Phil is a pleasure to have on our team for many reasons. He is a real team player who demonstrates great passion for everything he does and if you have ever had the pleasure of meeting Phil, you’ll remember him for his enthusiastic and positive attitude and his excellent manner in dealing with people!

Phil’s contribution towards developing and retaining a vibrant team culture within our business is appreciated by all.

Lenny Boyle | Employee of the Year - 2009

Lenny encapsulates Brierty's core values through his leadership and team building skills and his commitment to delivering the goods in very tough site conditions.

Based on the Tanami Gold / Bald Hill Project, Lenny has earned the respect and admiration of his team. He is a good all rounder, who maintains high work standards and ensures a safe and productive workplace is maintained.

Peta Watson | Employee of the Quarter - Spring 2009

Peta’s enthusiasm, willingness to learn and her positive attitude are widely acknowledged and admired by her workmates. She takes everything in her stride, takes immense pride in her work and always carries a smile irrespective of what challenges she faces.

Peta’s previous career was as a hairdresser and through Brierty’s trainee program Peta has been given the opportunity to pursue a completely different career and be part of Brierty’s largest construction contract.
